- Jainzen run:
Run towards Ebensee and follow the Strehnweg path by the Jainzenbach River until you reach the Alpine farming school. Follow the Jainzentalstrasse until you see the junction Doppelblick then continue running on the Jainzendorfstrasse via the Rechensteg trail until you return to the starting point. - Damm path:
Run towards Rechensteg Bridge, follow Jainzendorfstrasse until you reach the junction Kreutererstrasse. You will reach Dammweg, which leads you up to Pfandl. Take a left at the junction Kreuterestrasse into Bundestrasse and then again a left towards Bad Ischl. After the bridge follow Dammweg further into Bad Ischl and then keep left on the Kanalweg following the river Traun, until you return back to Rechensteg. - Wildenstein:
Start at Rechensteg Bridge, following Leitenbergstrasse, Eglmoosgasse, Brennerstrasse and then the Lauffnerwaldweg forest path until you reach the lower terminus of the Mount Katrin cable car. Run along the Salt hiking path (Soleweg) until the junction Römerweg and then follow the path via the Wildenstein ruin towards LakeNussensee . Continue on Lindaustrasse via the Auerbach River until you reach the Elisabeth forest path. Follow the path until you return back into Bad Ischl.
Nordic Walking fans can expect great routes alongside the River Traun, but also towards Mount Siriuskogl and towards the Mount Katrin cable car station.
